Movies come in many genre. There is romance, comedy, action, adventure (I'm sure the list goes on and on..) They all have one thing in common; they're all watched in the cinema. (: They also have different ratings. E.g: PG, NC 16, M 18, R21 etc .
Different movie suits different people. For example, you cant expect a child to go and watch a movie that is romantic or has a rating of NC16 can you? (Oh wait, the child can't even get in.) Neither can you ask an old lady to watch an action packed movie. She'll get a heart attack ( touch wood.)
A good movie usually has great effects, like, sound and graphics etc. Because people usally watch movie to rewind after a hard day/ with friends, they would expect the movie to be good. If it isn't, it'll leave a bad impression on the people. Therefore, directors have to really put in alot of hard work (:
When I go and watch a movie, I'll pick one that is according to my mood. If I'm happy, I'll watch a happy movie. If I'm sad, I'll watch a sad movie (..and so on..) But there are cerrtain movies that I'd love to watch anytime/whatever my mood is.
And that is: Movies under the Comedy genre. (:
Why?
It is packed with laughter. The plot is good. (not all, but most.) It never fails to bring a smile to my face, no matter how down I am. Besides, doctors do say that laughter is the best medicine. There are no advantage to watching movies.
Oh wait... There IS.
The weekend prices are more expensive then weekdays'.
P.S Another good thing I've forgotten : The popcorn. (:
